About Me
Santa Fe is enchanting, but to achieve enchantment you need a realtor with his feet firmly on the ground. You need a mature, thoughtful and focused person who listens. While the only person who really understands what you're looking for in Santa Fe is you, my job is to interpret. I interpret your hopes and aspirations and translate them into a great home - a refuge - for you and the ones you hold dear.

My background is in the cut and thrust world of technology marketing. After over ten years in Silicon Valley (and a previous stint in London) I have learned to be flexible, detailed and focused.

Let me put those traits to work for you.

Real Estate is not a spectator sport: it requires a dynamic knowledge of the market, day to day. So I spend a lot of time visiting homes and neighborhoods, to keep up with the market as it evolves.

I'm enthusiastic about Santa Fe: if you want a secret agent - one who never communicates with you - I'm not your guy. I am in regular contact with you, as you form your criteria, as we zero in on the right properties, and as we move to consummate the transaction. That shadow behind you...is me!

Which is the best long term investment?

Frank O'Mahony answered:
The answer is: it depends. Casa Solana has more upside, long term - but don't expect to fix 'n' flip. Expect to be there for at least 3 years, to recoup your investment. If you simply prefer Casa Alegre, move there - but it's fully valued at this point. Hope that helps! - Wed Oct 3 2007, 10:42

what is the best area to move to in New Mexico?

Frank O'Mahony answered:
When my family looked across the US for somewhere to move from Northern California, we chose Santa Fe. Why? A smallish town (70,000), real climates but not too harsh, all the culture we could handle, a diverse population, close to the mountains, progressive politics.... We've been here for 6 years, and really enjoy it. The town has delivered on most of its promises. And it even has a Trader Joe's now!
I'm a realtor here now - my wife teaches at an elementary school. The housing market here is different to the rest of NM - more expensive, with median price of $425,000, although I've sold nice condos to people for less than $200k. So it's not a trivial decision. But, for us, the right one. - Tue Sep 25 2007, 13:07
