Santa Fe is enchanting, but to achieve enchantment you need a realtor with his feet firmly on the ground. You need a mature, thoughtful and focused person who listens. While the only person who really understands what you're looking for in Santa Fe is you, my job is to interpret. I interpret your hopes and aspirations and translate them into a great home - a refuge - for you and the ones you hold dear.
My background is in the cut and thrust world of technology marketing. After over ten years in Silicon Valley (and a previous stint in London) I have learned to be flexible, detailed and focused.
Let me put those traits to work for you.
Real Estate is not a spectator sport: it requires a dynamic knowledge of the market, day to day. So I spend a lot of time visiting homes and neighborhoods, to keep up with the market as it evolves.
I'm enthusiastic about Santa Fe: if you want a secret agent - one who never communicates with you - I'm not your guy. I am in regular contact with you, as you form your criteria, as we zero in on the right properties, and as we move to consummate the transaction. That shadow behind you...is me!

ok, Linda - now I have some more data! La Cienega is still a great location - the other one is just outside Eldorado, south of Santa Fe. Similar feel, great access to horse riding land - but closer to stores, etc. Can you email me, at frank@omahony.com and I can talk specifics? - Thu Jul 3 2008, 18:52
La Cienega is a great location, easy access to BLM land for riding, and minutes from Santa Fe. Lots of horse properties in that area. Here's one.... - Thu Jul 3 2008, 18:23
I lived in London too, and today in Santa Fe we're having London weather! There are not many foreclosures in SF - according to foreclosure.com there are currently 47. You can sign up free at

Of course if you're interested in property in Santa Fe, I'd be happy to work with you... I'm at frank@omahony.com

It's all in the contract, so it depends what is agreed by the buyer & seller. If an attorney is involved (which happens rarely in NM residential transactions) I add 30 days to the closing period. - Fri Apr 18 2008, 07:47
Of course, the answer is, it depends! However, working numbers for warehouse space would be about $150 sq ft, for office space $225 psf and for retail, well the sky is the limit, but around $275.
Hope that helps. I'm working on several commercial transactions at the moment, and would be happy to give more information.

Those numbers are wrong - there were 621 home sales in the third quarter of 07. Below is a link to Santa Fe Properties' 3rd Quarter Report, with the data you need. Q4 is looking like around the same outcome at this point - drop me an email to and I'll make sure you get the Q4 report in January.
thanks for asking! - Wed Dec 12 2007, 12:21
I love to introduce people to Santa Fe, and I specialize in making the relocation cost effective & efficient. I do this by working extensively online with you beforehand, introducing neighborhoods, homes and styles so that by the time you come to Santa Fe you are educated and prepared, and I know enough about you to show you properties you'll really like.
My office is also part of a national relocation service that can save up to 60% on your moving costs, and also help find you a great realtor if you're selling a home to move here.
