Who should we submit an offer to?

Glen Mitchell answered:
Mike that home sold. Email me and I can send over a complete list of active only homes in that area.

Most likely it has already been assigned to a realtor and even if you happened to get through to the right person they will tell you to contact their realtor. This is from what I've seen and experienced, I don't know if its always true. - Fri Nov 14 2008, 08:12

Sjs, I would get preapproved with one lender and find out how much you qualify for. Using those results you could then go house shopping. When you find the right home if you think the lender you first dealt with wasn't being truthful or had terrible rates you could shop around some. Hopefully you can find a great lender to start with. Feel free to contact me for some specific names of people who would do a great job for you. How do you already know your credit score?? Just so you know there are a lot of free sources and ones you can buy off the internet that aren't 100% accurate and may be higher than it actually is. Those credit scores mean nothing to a lender who will pull a real credit report. That credit # may be very different from what you see now. BTW Getting pre aproved once is not going to hurt your credit.

So close to Carmel overall, and so different in price. There are a lot of bank owned properties out here and you can get quite a deal on a 2-3 year old home. These homes were originally in the $400k range and now around $160-$180k. Here is the website for the city. Lots of good info including population,etc... http://ci.greenfield.ca.us/#Community%20Profile

I'm glad you are looking at ways to reduce energy costs. You need to weigh the payoff point too. The panels I've seen depending on how good a location they can be placed payoff in 8-18 years. The typical homeowner moves about every 6-7 years so most of the owners may never realize any value themselves, but will at least be adding value for future home owners. - Sat Nov 8 2008, 15:49
