About Me
A lifetime Marin County Resident, I have lived and worked in the community for over fifty years. During this time, I’ve seen the county grow into what it is today. I’ve witnessed innumerable changes, most of them for the better, but not always, yet through it all Marin County has remained one of the best places you could ever call home. With home buying being the single most important financial decision a family can make, over the years I have made it my goal to consistently provide what my clients ask for most: communication, customer service, attention to detail, and a friendly, productive working rapport. As a fifty year resident of Marin County and as a Realtor, I have an intimate knowledge of the County’s towns and neighborhoods, not to mention its parks, beaches and hiking trails. I am also proud to be a part of Frank Howard Allen, serving the north and south bay for over 95 years, providing unparalleled customer service since its inception.
Testimonials
"“When my husband and I first met Eduardo we knew he was going to be the “One”, the person to go to for real-estate advice. Eduardo found us our dream home. It was within our price range and met all our requirements. Eduardo was patient and thorough in every detail of the process. He worked around our busy schedule. We felt comfortable and completely satisfied to have found the “One.” We are proud to have him as our friend and the family’s agent.”"

"“You have been so steadfast, honest, and informative. I know you had more open houses than a house of this value warrants. I know that your facility in Spanish was a factor. You did everything you could in the face of a bad market, a bad loan and a bad house. Thanks for your calm, careful guidance. You are a bright spot in our lives.”"
- June Fessler Mon Apr 16, 2007
"“The purchase of our new home was contingent upon the sale of our old home; and, of course, had a time limit. We were forced to put our home on the market in the beginning of the winter, extending through Christmas. Not the best climate in which to sell a home. Eduardo held open houses at least four days a week throughout the entire time the house was on the market. Not only did he work overtime holding open houses, he also took the time to learn abut our area, a necessity in order to sell a home in our neighborhood.”"

How would you describe the social scene in Kentfield?

Eduardo Gutekunst answered:
Not a center of night life, the social scene, for what there is, is centered around the College. It's a pretty quiet town. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
Eduardo Gutekunst answered:
Kentfield is a small town in the center of the most desirable part of Marin County. There is not true city, but a small center with two areas of stores, but it's mostly a residential town. Being such a prime place to live, homeowners go to great lengths to make their home reflect that reality. Whether it be small home in the flats of a larger home in the hills or the enclave of Kent Woodlands, most people have remodeled their homes to reflect the 21st century style. Most homes were built in the 60's, but as in all Marin, there are pockets of hundred year old homes, summer cottages or hunting lodges or great estates, maintained, expanded and modernized. The style of homes were mainly ranch, but there are so many other styles it's hard to keep track. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
Eduardo Gutekunst answered:
Regular bus service travels along all the main roads. If you lived in the flats, you could certainly live without a car, if you liked to walk. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
Eduardo Gutekunst answered:
Traffic tends to bottleneck at the corner of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and College Avenue, due either to rush hour or College traffic. Traffic along Magnolia, on the other hand is typically quite light. By most standards, there are nop traffic problems. The main commute path is Sir Francis Drake, which can back up during rush hour. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51

How are the parks and recreational areas in Kentfield?

Eduardo Gutekunst answered:
The only really designated park is Creekside, located off Bon Air Rd. Otherwise, the proximity of Kent School and College of Marin give kids opportunity to use those green areas when they're not being used by schools. A large path running the length of the Ross Valley passes through town and bordering Corte Madera Creek. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
