Nic, the short sale process can be rather lengthy. The bank will review the offer and either accept it, counter offer or reject. If another offer comes in while you're waiting they will typically counter back all offers to see which bidder accepts their terms or offers more. Be patient and stay in contact with your realtor who should stay in contact with the listing agent. Hope this helps you out. - Tue Dec 11 2007, 17:15

Call the local real estate office and speak with the Broker or Manager of the office that individual is typically experienced enough to either assist you or put you in contact with an associate to will follow-up with you. There's no excuse for not folowing up with a potential client. Good luck on your home search.
