Would you pay extra for an ocean view in Pacifica?

Vicki Moore answered:
If view were the only consideration, I would say 30k to 100k. View, like other factors, has to be considered as a whole. A panoramic view in Pacific Manor isn't going to get the same value as a view in Pedro Point. - Thu May 8 2008, 09:09

Should we pay off debt or keep for down payment?

Vicki Moore answered:
That's an excellent question. I suggest that you speak to a mortgage broker than has been referred to you by a trustworthy source to have them analyze your particular circumstance. - Tue May 6 2008, 15:16
Vicki Moore answered:
The issue with speaking to any buyer is that an agency relationship may be created. As soon as a conversation with a buyer about a particular house becomes substantive, that agent is creating an agency relationship with that buyer. The agent is now legally liable for any information that is given to that buyer and now the agent has put them self at risk for being sued. - Tue Apr 22 2008, 16:40

My suggestion is that you contact Frank Vento. He lives in Pescadero and knows the area inside out. Purchasing raw land is a specialty. There's a lot to know about it. Frank is a great friend and excellent realtor.
