Is 95127 Alum Rock area decent?

Charles Coachman answered:
Estuko,
I just helped a young couple buy their first home on Claremont and they love the place. I'd be glad to introduce you to them. Of course the home has all the trademarks of a home built 60 years ago. I have lived on the street behind Claremont which is Decker. This is a pretty good area and this is a great time to pick up a home while the prices and interest rates are down.
If you can use help or introduction to some folks in the area, I'd be glad to introduce you.

Have a great day and happy buying!

Ivon,
You have been given excellent answers, if you follow these suggestions you will be in good shape.
You said that you were given a pre-approval from BofA, were you satisfied with the rates and did the amount that you were approved for match your expectations? If not, be sure to do some additional shopping around. I would be glad to suggest George Pires of Princeton Capital, his phone number is (408) 355-2105.
With the Realtor that you choose, you must give him your list of items that are most important to you.
Is it a condo, townhome or single family home? Is it the neighborhood that you want to live in? Is it 2 or 3 bedrooms and 1 or 2 bathrooms? What features in a home are important to you?
Those are some of the big questions to ask when looking for the right place to purchase, best of luck!

How much is my house worth it now?

Charles Coachman answered:
Nicholas,
You have been given some very good answers. The very minimum that you would need is to give a Realtor your address and as was mentioned earlier any upgrades that you have had done. Realtors can take that minimal information and give you a pretty good estimate of value, that is known as CMA. If you would like some additional help that is one of the services that I offer with no cost to you.

Have a great day and Best of Luck!

James,

I have lived a couple of miles east of these condo's and it's fine, but these condo's are very close to the extremely busy Regional Hospital.
My wife teaches in a school close to this area and we are familliar with the area. In all honesty I have not thought of bringing anyone to look at these condo's. If someone has started their career in nursing or as a doctor, I would say live close to your work if want to.
I would suggest to you the Terrace Hills complex at the corner of Marten Ave and Mt. Pleasant Road. There are several homes now available under $400k. This complex has a couple of swimming pools and tennis courts and it's in a gated community.
If you need assistance, I would be glad to listen to what you need.

Best of Luck on your search!

Struggling,
I would advise that you look at other companies, but I would ask you to include Keller Williams Gateway office. We are the second office and part of the Silicon Valley group. You would never have a problem finding homes to hold open and we have group of experienced Realtors that will share their knowledge with you.
Keller Williams offers outstanding training and complete mentoring, I don't know of another company that offers the amount of training that we do. If you need training on a specific subject we can help with it. We are getting ready to start a bit of friendly competition on lead generating, give us a call and check us out. We are always looking for professional Realtors to join our staff.

I wish you the best in your search for the right company!
