Is Naglee Park a good investment? Historically, how does it compare to Willow Glen? To Los Gatos?

Go to city of San Jose website. Then to the permit section. Type in the address or parcel number. I would check both as sometimes I have found data at one spot and not another. Also if this was done many years ago it might now show up. - Fri May 9 2008, 17:16

Often times the builders do expect the buyer to pay closing costs. In this market you might get an incentive. If there is quite a bit of property in this complex, ask for it. - Fri May 9 2008, 17:14

If you find a home at the right price with decent financing now might be a great time to buy. That has a caveat though. You should look at this being something to hold onto for a number of years.

I had buyers wait because prices were going down but they lost their loans and not they have no choice but rent.

You certainly can wait but loan issue is critical right now. 100% financing is gone. If you are going for a condo you might not get PMI insurance on a low down property. Things have changed and are continuing to change.
