Im an active home inspector. Im in & out of homes/condos all week long throughout San Diego County. Candidly an agent sending you email lists is a passive form of really helping you. I can tell you this is a extraordinary time to buy period. My Investor clients are snapping up condos/homes that have positive cash flow.
I could only recommend to evaluate adjacent neighborhoods to your first choice. There are pockets of very nice areas in every neighborhood. Your first choice tend to have lower foreclosure per hood so may not have the pricing pressures that other areas.
