Well I can tell you from personal experience that we have enjoyed the North East ISD tremendously. We even moved away and 10 years later made sure we moved into the same district as before (even after much research) Within the North East ISD and the North Side ISD, there are a vast range of homes in many different price ranges-both pre-existing and new builds. Negotiating after an inspection

Hi there, I guess the first question is whether or not you are working with a Realtor. If you are, they should be able to either negotiate the price or $$ instead of repairs. It will also depend on if the price has already reflected the possible need for repairs and is below market value. If you are working this deal without a Realtor, make sure that you get several estimates for repair work that might need to be done and have those readily available when you start negotiating the repairs. Also, make sure all negotiations are completed and signed by all parties before the end of the option period (in Texas). Hope this helps you.
