best retirement areas in san antonio

Sheri Walls answered:
Ruth,

There are so many. I am not sure where to start. It all depends on what kind of atmosphere & ammenities you want. There are several Active adult communities here: Independence Village, Rosehart, The Del Webb community and the small town of Boerne that made AARP's top places to retire. I would love to give you more detailed information based on your lifestyle. When you are ready, visit my website or call me on my cell at (210) 365-6950. Best of luck! Sheri - Mon Mar 3 2008, 14:51

Andy,

All builders charge a different amount for a luxury home! You could see prices from $165 SQFT up to and exceeding $400 SQFT. What is your definition of luxury and do you already have a lot? I have a client building in Anaqua Springs for $250 SQFT including the lot..... As far as luxury builders, you can look into the following: Stadler Custom Homes, MIke Holloway Custom Homes, Burdick Custom Homes, , JMW Homes, Kyle Lindsey Custom Homes and Diamante Custom Homes. These just represent a few builders in the area... - Wed Feb 27 2008, 10:03

we need a good area to retire in around san antonio

Sheri Walls answered:
There is a great little city called Boerne. They made the AARP's top list of best places to be. There are some great golf course ocmmunities, if you like golf. A couple of places you might look...The Dominion, Tapatio Springs, Crownridge, Fair Oaks Ranch, Cordillera Ranch. There are quite a few new developments going in out IH 10- North of San Antonio. There are also a fex active adult communities for those 55 or older. If you want, tell me a bit more nd I can narrow the list, but I think this is a good place to start. - Thu Jan 24 2008, 10:29

Paul,

As Josh mentioned, there are several golf course communities around San Antonio and surrounding ocmmunities. Several great courses: The Dominion, Silverhorn, The Palmer Course at La Cantera, Fair Oaks Ranch Golf, Tapatio Golf COurse. These courses are more out the IH 10 area on your way to Comfort & Kerville. Several communites offer what you are looking for in a home! On a personal note, I have 4 lots in a gated community just feet from Fair Oaks Ranch Country Club. I also have some homes in the same area that are brand new, never been lived in. Best of Luck! If you would like more information, please let me know. - Tue Jan 22 2008, 15:06
