There is a lot of talk of a softening real estate market. How would you describe the real estate market in San Anselmo?

The real estate market in San Anselmo is robust and has been for many years. Understandably so with the quaint town, great schools, and good weather. How easy it to get around San Anselmo with public transportation (buses, trains, subways, etc)?

There is public transit for the children to take to school and commuters to the city. Many locations and easy to use. It would be possible to live without a car if you are closer to the downtown area. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51

There is the morning traffic throughout the corridor of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and Center Rd. heading towards San Rafael. Timing one's commute around the school hours is advised. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51

Fairfax is currently booming many buyers wanting to move to the area. The inventory is lower than other towns, demand high and appreciation steady and meeting the other towns. 50% of the inventory is in escrow at the moment, so homes don't stay around too long. - Mon Apr 23 2007, 15:51
