Vance & Anna Frost answered:
We have gone directly to the audience through the employers as well. We have posted ads at electronic bulletin boards within companies to reach short term tenants. The other area to notify is department heads who might be bringing in temp workers. - Tue Jan 15 2008, 14:11
It depends on how expensive the home will be. Most rentals are posted and found on CraigsList. Luxury short term rentals are handled by specialists who have access to the small group of luxury tenants. You can contact real estate pros who will guide you through the process. - Tue Jan 15 2008, 11:42

The answer is always "what is the competition for the home?". It the listing is fresh and there are other bidders, you probably will have to offer over asking. If the listing has been on the market for quite some time, you could offer less. Realtors working in the market will have the best insight to what it takes to be the successful bidder on a home. - Tue Jan 15 2008, 11:32

Hi Jane, The answer is a little complex, however generally depost interest guidelines are set by cities/towns not by state law. A quick search of the Municipal Code of San Anslemo revealed no guidelines for interest on rent or security deposits. A call to the planning department may be in order. We suspect that a simple discussion with the owner will suggest a compromise that would satisfy everyone. Best of Luck! - Tue Jan 15 2008, 11:25

Is crime an issue in San Anselmo?

Vance & Anna Frost answered:
According to statistics, the crime rate in San Anselmo is lower than the national averages(see web reference). The Ross Valley Reporter newspaper formerly carried a feature on the types of emergency activity in the area. Pleople seem to be comfortable walking the street pretty much everywhere. - Sat Oct 27 2007, 11:36

Congregation Rodef Sholom is a Reform congregation committed to uplifting prayer and spiritual growth (Tefilah), lifelong learning (Torah), and repairing our world through acts of lovingkindness (Gemilut Chassidim). Congregation Rodef Sholom's Relgious School is a warm and caring environment in which we teach and model skills and behaviors that enable full participation in the Jewish home, the synagogue and Jewish community life.
