About Me
I am in the business of Real Estate because I love it. When I am helping someone look for a new home, I become so invested in the process that I begin to feel the highs and lows that the buyer feels. When someone chooses me to sell their home, I apply my motto of selling as if it were my own. I believe that's what being an agent is all about - caring about my clients and putting their interests above my own.

I bring professionalism and creativity to my business. When you choose to work with me, you are working someone who is totally immersed in his profession. In other words, I don't merely dabble in real estate, I live it.

I work with RE/MAX Results in South Jordan, UT and I couldn't be happier with the quality of the agents and brokers that work there. We subscribe to the law of abundance, which means that we believe there is enough success out there for everyone. As a result, our agents are always helping one another and offering advice when somebody needs it. It's a great place to be.

Take Herriman for example. In that last few months, there are townhomes that sold there for 133/sq.ft. and 2 story conventionals that sold for 100/sq.ft. This fluctuation is natural, as each home is unique.
The number you should be looking at is the price/sq.ft. of the homes comparable to the ones you are looking at buying. Those are the ones that will truly matter.
Once you get that number, you'll have a good idea of what a good buy would be and where you can feel comfortable with an offer. I say this because would hate to throw out a number without knowing what kind of place you are looking at.
Hope this helps. - Wed Jan 30 2008, 09:14

Real estate professionals out on the front lines will tell you that, yes, there are buyers right now, but no, not everything is selling. What a seller has to do in this market is put themselves ahead of the crowd.
The days are gone when you can merely put your house out there 'just to see what happens'. If you are serious about selling, than I recommend you go all out, with attractive online advertising.
So yes, there are buyers, but sellers need to work a little bit harder to attract them.
I hope this helps. - Thu Jan 17 2008, 15:08

Are you interested in taking a look inside this home? I may be able to help if that's what you had in mind.

LIz,
The obvious pro would, of course, be that that market bottom hasn't happened yet and you still have time to wait. Other pros that I see have less to do with the market and more to do with personal issues such as saving for a down payment, etc.
Called me biased, since real estate is my job, but I believe the cons outweigh the pros right now. It's strange, but since January 1 in my office, showings have shot up. I think many buyers are shaking off the hesitancy that has held them back for some time. They still have as much negotiating power as ever, and I've heard some express the opinion that the the market has hit bottom. That may or may not be true, but some are saying it.
So if want my somewhat biased opinion, I'd say that now is a perfect time to buy.
Good Luck - Wed Jan 9 2008, 16:06

How do I go about having our townhome listed or shown on your site?

Nathan Blair answered:
Rose,
Trulia is a site that allows real estate professionals to post their listing to gain more exposure. You'll notice that beneath each listing is a website name where the listing came from. That being said, as a For Sale By Owner you wouldn't be able to list your home on this site. If you were using an agent and their brokerage website had a feed to this site, then it could be done.
I'm sorry about your experience with your agent. If you have any further questions during the home selling process, call or email me and I'd be happy to help you out. - Fri Aug 24 2007, 16:01
