Lance Snedden answered:
Marvin is exactly correct. Your first step is to discuss with your sales agent directly and tell them you are not satisfied and ask to be released from the contract. Next step is to speak directly to the Broker. Bottom line is this agent works for you and needs to represent/protect you. If you are not satisfied, then he/she should release you from the contract. - Wed Jul 2 2008, 13:00

Lance Snedden answered:
Joey, these gentlemen are 100% correct. Banks will often flat out reject offers contingent on the buyer's home selling. One thing to try is to see if they will entertain a Right of First Refusal with your offer.

If not, there is an ample supply of homes on the market right now and a good agent will be able to find you the home that matches your needs. - Wed Jun 4 2008, 09:38
