The SIMMS Team is a family team led by Sharon Simms, a full time REALTOR® in St. Petersburg, Florida, since 1986. She is joined by son Rob Johnson, daughter Tami Simms-Powel and supported by Strategic Execution Officer, Amy Grashel.
We sell real estate, and we’re good at it. We listen carefully and talk straight - believing that’s how we can best serve you.

Education and active participation in professional organizations are very important to us. Each team member has real estate designations as well as a college education. Sharon and Tami are often quoted by the media, invited to speak around the country, and are Trainers with the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
As a family, we bring unique talents to the team, but each of us is familiar with every client and the status of their search and transactions. Sharon, Rob and Tami work directly with buyers and sellers, each offering unique talents and personalities to match our clients’ needs. Amy keeps all of us in line, managing our technology and making sure that every deadline is met and every detail is taken care of.

Our office is in the heart of vibrant downtown St. Petersburg, and we cover areas that are within a 45 minute commute of the main work centers of Pinellas County, from the Gateway / Carillon area to downtown St. Petersburg.

The most important thing is to track your results from all types of advertising. For us, there is far greater return from the internet than from print - that's not to say there may not be any return from print, but that we should invest our marketing money where we get the best return. The home needs updating and it is a short sale, which means the offer would be subject to lender approval, which can mean a long delay in knowing whether or not your offer will be accepted.

This is a single family home in a very nice neighborhood on Treasure Island. The home has 1,764 sq ft and 2 baths. Presumable it has 3 bedrooms, but I'm not sure. The status seems to be "pre-foreclosure" which means that a lien has been filed on record, but the lender is not yet able to sell the property. - Mon Sep 29 2008, 13:17
You've already received several answers, which conclude that - it varies! Even opposite sides of the same canal can have very different depths, and the closed/dead ends of canals are often very shallow. If you have a sailboat, you also need to be concerned about fixed bridges if you plan to go out to the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. The unique needs of buyers and sellers who have chosen me to represent them make me feel more a trusted Consultant and Counsellor than a Salesman. My specialty is the convergence of luxury real estate, international clients, and resort properties. Specifically I represent and sell a lot of waterfront homes and also downtown St. Petersburg condominiums - we have wonderful downtown luxury condos with great water views. We do handle all of our clients' real estate needs, though, so in representing their family in multiple generations, and in representing their employees, we do cover a wide range of real estate properties and prices. Since my daughter and son work with me as agents representing buyers and sellers in the Tampa Bay area, together we cover a wide variety of price ranges and types of properties.
