how has real estate changed in St. Marys Georgia in the last 5 yrs? How about the paper mill?

Pam, the paper mill has been quite the drama. LandMar has purchased the old mill and has it nearly torn down. They traditionally have built a very quality development. They are the guys behind Osprey Cove and Winding River. St Marys has worked well them so far and I look forward to the waterfront shopping and such thats on the way. As far as how Real Estate has changed, its been a little up and down. We were not really on the map until HGTV built a dream home here. Once that happened we we really had a nice market going. Now we have a ton of inventory, palin and simple. Great time to be a buyer. - Thu Sep 27 2007, 09:26

is base housing in kings bay opening for the public to rent in october 2007?

The office that is in charge of on base housing is in fact going to be civilian beginning soon. It simply means that the folks on base will be handled by them and that they will pay rent. I am afraid that the homes on base will not be made available to the general public. - Thu Sep 27 2007, 09:12
