For one thing, don't go by what the news media prints, the best way is to get out into the area you like to live, depending on the area you can find some very nice homes in a great area, I live and market in the city, so I understand the all the neighborhoods in the city and where to get the data you are requesting. In the city 63109 or St. Joan Arc is a very good neighborhood with a some neighborhood association, strong community feel, my office is located right there, St. Louis Hills, Southhampton and NorthHampton there are some great deals right now, "Your True City Realtor" Living and Working in the City, Oh I own and live in Soulard.
