Definitely pick an office that you feel comfortable in. If your a navy blue power suit kind of guy, then pick an office that has similar dress attire and so on. The most important advice that I could give a new agent is to work for a company that has stellar educational classes that are provided on a monthly basis. Good Luck.

Thanks Erin, I'm working with GMAC and SPS (select portfolio services). GMAC is the first, and I've been getting the run around with them. I just received a fax from the second, SPS, saying they want 1000 to close, but, I'm still waiting for a response from the first. It's the phone game chase, and I finally got through! I spoke to the buyer's agent and her client has put out multiple offers. I understand if they want to back out, since it's been 2 months now. Thanks for your Answer.

Marci, I absolutely know how you feel. I started to work for a small brokerage in Mckinley Park and worked for a Broker who would always tell me to go figure things out for myself. I worked for this company for 3 years, and I value the lessons that I've learned, and the opportunities that I had experienced, However, I knew I needed a change. I was recruited by Prudential for a year, and It was like the universe was working in my favor and everywhere I looked, I saw Prudential. I Finally made the appointment and loved my potential new Broker, and the vibe of the new office. I now have been with the office since last August, and the training is invaluable, the office connection amongst all the agents and other Brokers is amazing, everyone is so helpful and most importantly we share our trials and tribulations within this market and work as a team. Prudential has offered me many monthly educational programs and we meet every wednesday to discuss what our goals for the month are. In Todays meeting we were reviewing our escrows for the month and we met our goal of 30+ escrows. Yes, now we're getting lunch catered next week. It seems to me, you are hungry for structure and knowledge, and should be surrounding yourself with people who are happy to help you be successful! You can still qualify now for a loan through FHA Programs. FHA loans have been helping people become homeowners since 1934. How do they do it? The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) which is part of HUD insures the loan, so your lender, Chase, can offer you a better deal.
Chase's FHA program can offer the following:
-no minimum credit score required-most collections must be paid
-No Income Limits-New 2008 loan limits
-Only 3% down payment required/down pmt can be gifted, no limit of gift amount
-FHA can go to 100% financing w/ a 3% down payment loan or grant
-9% seller concessions
-NO RESERVE Requirements
