I am a real estate broker in Rutherfordton, NC a little town that has the quaint charm of the old south. I love selling real estate and working with both buyers and sellers. I have great respect for my fellow Realtors and think together we can make a difference in this market. I pride my self on being honest and straight forward and I work hard for every client.

Hey Joe:
You would get a lot more for your moeny in Rutherford or Polk County. We are just south of Asheville but still with gorgeous mountain views. Here is a link to some properties in our area that would work for you.

I found a 102 Baxter St in Morganton, NC which is on the border of Nebo. That may be what it is and they just listed it wrong. Did you find it online with a MLS# or something? If so I could search it that way, but my guess would be that it is in Morganton that runs into Nebo. - Tue Mar 18 2008, 17:48
Hey Ken: you might also want to look into Rutherfordton, NC. Just west, south of Asheville. About 1 hour drive. We have several Jack Nicholson golf courses going in and the prices are significantly lower than what you will see in Asheville. I would be happy to send you some info on it if you are interested. - Tue Mar 18 2008, 17:34
Hi Cathy:
I lived in Garner right on the Wake and Johnston County lines, just minutes from Clayton. I think Clayton is an amazing area with lots of growth potential. As the bypass continues around from knightdale I think you will see more and more appreciation there. Plus you are close to 40 and 95 as far as travled interstates and that is important to people who have family out of town.
If you are set on the Raleigh area, I would recommend going with Clayton. I know some great agents there that I use to work with and would be happy to refer you. They have offices in Clayton and know the area very well. Let me know if I can be of any help. - Tue Mar 18 2008, 17:32

I live in Western NC now and that is where I was born and to me there is just nothing that beats the mountains. The Raleigh area just got to congested for me and when I had my daughter I wanted to move back home to the mountains to raise her. Good schools and good morals here. But I did like Clayton due to the similarties between it and my hometown because they are both small towns (for now).
