About Me
I'm a native New Mexican, and have lived in the Ruidoso area for over 16 years. I love the area and cannot think of another place in the world that I'd rather live. I spent my first 13 years here in education as a teacher and librarian in the public schools and later at the local university.

About 3 years ago, I started working in real estate, thinking it would be a fun part-time endeavor. After just a few months however, I realized that I loved helping people learn about the area, and find their own little piece of paradise. I got so busy with real estate, that I decided to go full-time.

Even though I've been practicing real estate a relatively short period of time I've been blessed to have completed over 100 transactions and I've won several national awards for production. I focus on helping my customers get what they want, and making sure they are happy before, during and after every transaction.

So rest assured, I take real estate seriously and I am well qualified to help your buy or sell a home in the area! It's not about me...it's all about you!

Are values in Ruidoso falling? It seems homes are staying on the market longer.

I just posted a market analysis on my new blog (see link below) that might answer this question in more detail for you, but in a nutshell, the number of homes that sold in Ruidoso in 2007 was down from the number sold in 2006, but property values are holding pretty steady. We have seen some price corrections on houses that were just listed too high to begin with. New construction is moving pretty quickly in most cases. It is the older homes that need some updating that are staying on the market longer. I just checked our average days on market, and it is at 179, which is about the same as it has been for the last few years. Specialties
In a small town it is difficult to specialize in one area of real estate, but I prefer to work with residential buyers and sellers rather than commercial. I also LOVE selling lots and vacant land, because it gives people the opportunity to build their own dream home or cabin.
