I am most concerned about conserving energy and protecting the enviroment. Gorgeous Trees being cut down to make room for more roads and highways take away animal habitat and harm the environment . Where are the animals to live? Respect for animal habitat
and living in harmony with nature should command alot more attention than it does. Too many animals are killed needlessly on roads, squirrels, deer, birds daily because people are speeding to get somewhere, burning up fuel and gas. It is a nightmare! People must "SLOW down" on roads and learn to be respectful of all life-animals included.
This has to stop. All forms of life are important .
What future do our children and grandchildren have to look forward to, if we don't put the brakes on now! - Mon May 12 2008, 13:37

Interest rates could not be better and home prices are much lower.Sellers are anxious and more than willing to negotiate with buyers. Focusing on the home you want now that stops you in your tracks is what counts. Time not being a factor for you, I think the time is right to start looking seriously for what appeals to you.
Negotiating the price you want comes next, and if the Sellers are not willing, then move on to the next million dollar home in Potomac/Bethesda that appeals to you ! - Mon May 19 2008, 08:37
Annette Burger answered:
Always offer what you think home is worth, however on short sales bank will take their time reviewing all offers and take the offer closest to 289K price range or best offer. Remember short sales are sold as is and what you see is what you buy or get. The market is great right now and loaded with good buys" that are not Short sales", so I would look at other properties that are not short sales in the 289k or less price range.
I have a lovely townhome listed in Silver Spring/Wheaton area (as an example) that has been Reduced 39K by sellers and it is Not a short sale. Please give me a call to discuss at 301 881 9800 ext 402 or visit my website. - Mon May 12 2008, 13:58

If the home is priced correctly as to comparables and it is in good condition it usually can take 60 to 90 days to attract buyers. If you wish to discuss further please give me a call at 301 661 4503 or 301 881 9800 ext 402. - Mon May 12 2008, 13:17

There are factors involved to consider when a home is on the market for 150 days plus. Location,Price,Marketing and Comparables in the neighborhood. Even though your home has been renovated it may not be large enough to command a 700K price in the 20912. Give me a call to discuss further.
