I think you need to comparison shop for a realtor just as much as you do for any other service you use; whether that's Target, Walmart, painter, plasterers or handymen or bankers. How do you pick out the services you do use now? I think a good place to start is asking others for referrals. Ask people YOU know and trust - friends, family or a lender that you work with now. Then come up with some questions... How about what do you expect from me as a client...what can I expect from you as a realtor...how do you communicate etc. And then work with someone who operates according to principles not according to the bottom line. Ask what their priorities are... Blessings on your choice and process!
