Have you thought about Ridgefield, CT.? Ridgefield can access the same train line as Chappaqua (Katonnah through Brewster) commute is the same as from Westport, parking is plentiful at the Purdy's station and Ridgefield is your quintessential New England town.
I used to commute to Grand Central from Ridgefield, the great thing about the Harlem line is that it rarely has any problems.
