From your zip code, it appears you are in the Fan/Oregon Hill/Carver/Jackson Ward area. You are smart to be looking for a home inspector that specializes in older homes. Home inspectors that do NOT have that experience are not going to be able to address the specific and common issues that come up in old homes. I have several inspectors that I like, and several inspectors that those of us Realtors who do most of our work in 23220 use over and over. But any recommendation I make would really depend on exactly what it is you are looking for in terms of service, experience, and expertise.
