"Working with Tamara while searching for my perfect house was a great experience! She never made me feel like I was bother as we looked at over 20 houses before I found the house for me. She took her time and really went out of her way to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for in a home at a price I could afford.
Once she helped me find my perfect home, she was still there with me every step of the way from the home inspection to the closing table. I really enjoyed working with Tamara and would recommend her to anyone looking to purchase a home, condo or townhouse in the Richmond area."

I think that will depend on the condition of the garage. Also, can a car fit in it or is it used mainly for storage. That extra info would be helpful.

Dan,
That is a great question, and the answer will depend on where you live in a particular state and even a particular area. My area is Richmond, VA. Our market has been much stronger than most. For us that kind of drop is unlikely. However, a buyer can still find great deals, and sellers willing to negotiate. You just need to find a Realtor that will be able negotiate well on your behalf. If you are thinking about purchasing, and are worried that your prices will drop after you close, don't! Owning vs. renting is always a better option if you can afford it. I hope this info helps you! - Sun Jul 27 2008, 06:37
Alexis,
I do not know if any area in Richmond can become the next Short Pump. However, Rockett's Landing is going to be an amazing development in the next few years(what is there is pretty nice). It is right on the Richmond/Varina line. That project will be something that Richmond has not seen, and I think it will be great for our city. But, they are not trying to mimic Short Pump. What they have is unique. I say I'd have to agree with you on the comparison. :) - Fri Jul 25 2008, 05:07
Carolina,
I relocated to the Richmond area when I was 10yrs old(from Texas). So I consider myself a Richmond-er and a great resource for you and your family. I would be happy to help with any question that you may have regarding homes in the area. Many of my clients have also recently re-located from other parts of the country to our area. I would be happy to put you in touch with them as well! They would be a great resource for you. Two couples in particular come to mind, and I think they would be able to give you an un-biased opinion on what to expect with the transition. Call me or email me, and I would be happy to help! - Mon Jul 21 2008, 18:24
