Justin. You must ask the questions, but most important is give them info of value first, then ask a question. Give first, then you will receive. I agree with you too. No one wants a shadow. Keep it up. Gary - Wed Sep 10 2008, 00:05

Hi Ardell,
Great question. I have two thoughts. We'll for sure get an answer from both companies. My other thought is I bet you tried it already, did it seem to work? I know some of the listing feeds don't allow any html in the comments or description section and others do. - Wed Aug 27 2008, 10:21

Jim,
I agree with Deborah and Bryan, they are right on with their advice. Additionally, If your agent hasn't had a meeting and specifically asked you all the questions about what you would like to buy and really discovered where you want to live, that would be a concern. Then they should have taken the time to explain the entire process of buying a home or townhome. And they should have either recommended a couple of good loan officers or talked with you and your loan officer about your financial options. You should have been given a copy fof the buyers presentation to take with you so when questions come up in your mind (which they always will) you could look for the answer. And once the loan officer has you pre approved and it is documented, then it is time to look for homes. Often times the pre meetings will take a total of 3 or 4 hours. Preparation ahead of time, keeps you from wasting time and driving around or looking at homes you don't want or can't afford.
With the abundance of homes and townhomes available, here in the south end, it should be easy to find several homes for you to view online. After that your agent should have knowledge of the neighborhoods and schools and can give you more input. The agent should preview the homes in which you are interested. This means going to them, going in to make sure they meet your needs. Then all of you go out looking at the best 5 or 6 homes and buy one.
At this point, you should be getting homes 2 or 3 times a day by email to look. And if your agent is not calling you often for your feedback that would be a concern.
This is a great market for buyers, with lots of available homes and good interest rates. It is a major financial and life decision which home to buy and you need an agent that is diligent, knowledgeable about the homes and market in the specific area and maintains contact with you on a continuous basis.
Have a great 4th of July,

Kinga,
We have a great office at KW Renton. Amazing business building tools and training for Top Level Realtors, but it is not free like some other companies.
Give me a holler and we can discuss what you are thinking about and I'll give you the info on our office.

Hi Kinga,
Not sure what is going on with the local Remax offices. I have friends in the same office that have different costs and fees. Some pay higher per month than others and some have to pay the mandatory fees and some are waived, one husband and wife team doesn't have to pay for the wife. I don't know of any that cost as little as Skyline. Are you curious or thinking of making a move? Take care and look me for a ICED latte one of these days (since it is 91 outside and hotter tomorrow).
Have a great weekend, Gary - Sat Jun 28 2008, 21:01
