The west side of Redding is best, of course I live there. The school districts are better, etc. Shasta Lake is not the place to live in my opinion. I have lived here for 22 yrs and have a child going through the school system. Call me if you would like more details.

Kira,
I would call the rental agencies first. If they cant help I suggest you call your favorite appraiser and ask him/her. Hopefully, they have kept records. If I can be of assistance please call me at 244-6830.

I recommend you contact a good realtor in Shasta County, one that has a track record of land sales. You could also list the property on Craigs list. If you need a referral please call me at 530-949-6841. Jim Westerberg USLending Co. Redding, CA - Tue Sep 2 2008, 15:01
Joanne, Go to the Shasta County Office of Education website where you will find a map of school district lines. Or, go to their office located at 1644 Magnolia Ave. in Redding and they will give you a big map that is very detailed and user friendly. Their phone # is 225-0200 if you need directions or you can consult mapquest. If you need any other assistance please call me at my office 244-6830. Gerald, I believe the home prices have not quite hit bottom yet due to the foreclosure sales in the area. Once they shake out prices will start to rise again. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me at my office. My name is Jim Westerberg, Loan Officer, USLending Co, 530-244-6830 - Tue Jul 29 2008, 12:48
