I'm a 52 year-old native of no where, but I'll claim Florida as my home. I attended Zephyrhills High School in Zephyrhills, FL where I was a member of the band and supported the Zephyrhills Bulldogs. I was also a member of young business professionals. How would I rate our first defensive performance? Who knows...I can't believe that we're approaching the 34th anniversary of that team. Time flies......
After graduating from Zephyrhills, I took off to another small town in the mountains of Kentucky to attend Alice Lloyd Community College in Pippa Passes. This tiny school is now a 4 yr university. How did I end up there you ask. Several of my cousins went there and my Aunt and Uncle worked there. I have a lot of family on my Mom's side in this area of Kentucky. If you are a Fields or a Watts I'm bound to be related.
After 2 years in this beautiful area I moved back to sunny Florida and attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla. There I received a BA in Business and Office Education (1979) and I was an active member/officer of Delta Sigma Pi (the first professional business fraternity that treated women as equals). We were all brothers.
While I was at USF I briefly met my future husband. He left school to join the US Coast Guard and we got married 3 years later.
After spending 20 years in the corporate world and 17 years as a Coast Guard wife, I decided to take all my moving experience and business savvy and join my husband in Real Estate.
Currently, I am a real estate Broker with Keller Williams Realty in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I lived in Cary for 7 years and now reside in north Raleigh and commute 40 minutes to Chapel Hill. My mission statement is to become one of the most trusted, best trained, solutions oriented real estate broker in North Carolina.

Enough about my business side! What does Shelia do for fun?
I have 2 grown daughters, Kelly & Lyndsey. The oldest (Kelly) got married in 2007 and my youngest is getting married June 2010. So other than planning weddings and spending quality time with my daughters, I love to play in the yard. I like flowers and shrubs of all kinds, crepe myrtles, dogwoods and huge hardwood trees with moss (though you have to go to SC or Fla for those). I also enjoy dabbling in home decor and home interior design. I've been helping both daughters put their houses together. Lyndsey just bought her first home April 09.
We do a lot of family outings and we watch each others pets. Wayne and I have an Australian Shepherd, Kel has a Great Pyrenees and Lynz has a Yorkie and Sebastian the cat who weighs 22 lbs - he's not fat just huge.

Hey, Paulette, I live in NE Raleigh just a few minutes from Knightdale. I was just in Churchill last week looking at a resale. There are 11 active homes for Churchill in the MLS and there are a lot of lots left out there to build on. There are also 2 other new construction developments in that same area. To make sure you get the best deal work with a Buyer agent who is going to look out for your best interest.
