About Me
Real Estate agent in beautiful growing Prescott Valley, Arizona. This town is progressive! Lots of new businesses are locating here. Great town for families--lots of schools, educational opportunities. Close to Phoenix, but a much more moderate climate. Home of the Arizona Sun Dogs hockey team, and Arizona Adreniline indoor football team. A great place to move. (Email the town website at http://www.pvaz.com). Please give me a call if you would like to purchase (or sell) a home or land in this area! Be sure to ask for Dee.

Dee Johnson answered:
There are several great schools in Prescott, and the surrounding communities of Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humbolt. The chances of getting hired will depend on what is available in these school districts. Check out these web sites: http://www.cityofprescott.net, http://www.chinovalley.org, http://www.pvaz.net, and the Humbolt Unified School District website: http://www.humboltunified.com. We also have Yavapai College and Prescott College which can be accessed via the computer. Your experience will be a great help. 23 years can only be a plus! Good luck to you and if you are looking for a home in this area, I would love to help you out! - Tue Oct 28 2008, 13:10

Now is the time to buy! There are so many bargains in this area! The first place to start is to find out what you would qualify for. This means contacting a mortgage company or bank, etc. A good lender can walk you through the process very easily. You can start with a phone call and do the paper work later. I have several great people who could help you out if you contact me (click on my name by my picture). The second thing to do is locate a realtor that you are comfortable working with. Let them know your price range, and what you would like in a home (# of bedrooms, land, garage, A/C, etc.) The realtor will walk you through the rest. Please contact me for any further questions. I would appreciate the opportunity to be your realtor. Thank you!! - Sat Aug 2 2008, 11:02

I have not heard of Fontana Lakes, but if you want a great place to retire in Arizona consider Prescott or Prescott Valley, about 1 1/2 hours north of Phoenix. It has been listed in magazines as one of the best places in Arizona for retirees. Mild climate, clean clear air, and always something going on in the community. It's a great place to live. Please contact me if you are interested. Thank you! - Fri May 30 2008, 13:14

Dee Johnson answered:
Contact someone in the home staging business. They can consult on color alone if you want, but they can also recommend how to stage and present a house. It is worth the investment. Best of luck to you! - Wed May 28 2008, 13:59

What are the disadvantages of buying a short sale home?

Dee Johnson answered:
The advantage of course is the price. The disadvantage is the amount of time a short sale can take. If you place an offer you need to plan ahead. It may take a couple of months to get an acceptance, and once accepted it can take 60 days or more to complete. Also, if there are junior leins and the junior leinholders do not wish to negotiate or agree to an offer the short sale will be denied. There are alot of great articles on the web, and you can always contact a realtor for information. Good luck! - Mon May 19 2008, 10:59
