About Me
I have been successfully selling real estate in the MD, VA and DC for over 20 years. I am a Buyers' and a Sellers' Agent. I work with homebuyers and sellers in all price ranges and age ranges. Having been through the down real estate cycle of the 1990's, I know how this market works and what it takes to "get the job done".

I have continually been a top selling and listing producer throughout the years winning numerous awards and am in the top 5% of all agents, nationwide! Anyone here has a recommendation on a good home warranty company?

Jale, you will need to have comparative market analysis done on your home by either a licensed real estate agent or an appraiser. I am a neighborhood expert in that area ( zip codes 20815, 20816, 20817). The last month has been a very busy month for sales in the area and those properties that had been on the market 3-5 months have finally gone under contract. So you are right about the slim-pickings. However, come Labor Day, the "Fall Market" should start to get into full swing and I think you will find many more homes on the market in September and October. It is still a Buyer's Market so you have not missed the window of opportunity out there for you. Many of the homes on the market in the Spring, that did not sell, will be back on the market and most Sellers want to be out of their properties before the Holidays. That is not tru e of all realtors. All of my listing go into the MLS and then posted all over the internet at various sites. When there is an open house (yes, I do open houses) I put it in print in the Washington Post. Follow-up from visitors to the open and agents who have shown the property is essential. But when the market shows that the price is too high, I ask to have it loweered for fear of an appraisal coming in too low, even if you were able to sell it above the appraised value.
