Stephen sold my condo twice! The first time was on the first day listed, but the sale fell through 10 days later. We re listed and he sold it on the first day again. He is very talented. Fun to work with. He tackled some difficult condo issues and got the sale closed. Thank you Stephen.

This agent helped me locate and purchase a new townhouse while I was living in another state. I purchased the home solely on the information he provided such as his own videos of the property. I was a little nervous about doing this, but was quite happy with the results when I finally arrived in Portland to move into my newly purchased home. Additionally, this agent helped me find the best area and price for the size of home I needed and the type of area I prefer to live in. Naturally, compromises had to be made, but I believe the best options were found after exploring what was available. I heartily recommend this agent to anyone who knows what they want or need and wants an agent who will find the best options to meet their needs.

Never wrote reviews before but felt the need to say something about how awesome this guy is! First encounter with Stephen was when we called him to ask about a place we were interested in. We were surprised and impressed at the same time that he was honest enough to tell us that he doesn't recommend the area because of the bad crime rate. We were first time buyers and quite new in Portland so basically we were clueless. Right then we knew he was the agent for us. Though it took us 4 months and toured about 30+ houses to finally find our dream home, it was indeed a pleasant experience. He was so easy to work with and he'll answer your every question even the silliest ones for that matter. It made us feel comfortable and less scared about the whole buying process. Amazingly, we were able to close in just 3 weeks. Together with his recommended lender, everything just went smoothly. We couldn't be happier and we couldn't have chosen a better agent than Stephen. He is simply the best!

Stephen was highly professional, highly savvy re: computers and websites, sent us monthly updates, conducted 2 open houses, had good signage, and excellent presence throughout our listing period. He sold our floating home as of last week and negotiated the obstacles and peculiarities of floating home ownership with adeptness and seeming ease. That is not an easy thing to do. On top of that, his fees were very reasonable. He was knowledgable, ethical, and I highly recommend him. Were I to have additional property for sale in Oregon, I would surely use him again.
Just a note: I was a realtor myself for 6 years in California and can appreciate just how good a realtor he is. I am glad to have had the chance to endorse his work.

When I decided to sell my home, my brother recommended Stephen as a good choice for a realtor. Stephen met with me prepared with comps, marketing ideas and good instincts about pricing and the temperature of the market. We listed my house and I got an offer the next day. I'm happy to say with that offer my house sold with no issues in about a month (just recorded on Friday!). Stephen was always available for questions via e-mail or phone and was really clear when explaining all the steps along the way. I highly recommend him if you are looking to sell your house!

As buyers who were new to the area, my wife and I took an abnormally long amount of time (over a year) looking at different houses in different neighborhoods and trying to get a feel for which school district we wanted to be in and what kind of houses were available in those areas. Stephen was immensely patient with us; he must've showed us 30 houses in a variety of price ranges and neighborhoods during that year. He was always available via email and telephone, and we found him to be highly knowledgeable at every stop in the home-buying process. When my wife and I decided to sell our home we started to search for agents who work for less than the 6% standard commission. The first search result was Stephan’s website. Slightly skeptical, I still decided to call Stephan for a consultation. Stephan came very prepared with comp sales, marketing techniques, and several other items pertaining to the sale I never would have considered. He also made suggestions of what repairs needed to be done prior to listing the house. Very impressed with his service we signed a contract that same day. Stephen did the short sale on my house. The bank was very slow and uncooperative but Stephen kept on them and never let up. He is honest, professional, and answers all questions very quickly. Stephen does everything he can in order to get the best home, for the best price for his clients. He's incredibly knowledgeable of the Portland area, as well as schools and amnesties in certain neighborhoods. Today Stephen sold my house and I owe nothing.
The long process of a short sale suddenly became very short when I met Stephen.
The first short sale realtor I had talked about a $30k promissory note, the second about me paying all the seller's fees.
Stephen talked about the seller paying nothing. He allowed me to record him saying that.
The first offer was in the first day. There were scores of other offers, and many thousands of visits to my house on Multiple Listings web site. The bank held out for a month, and today the house sold.
I owe nothing.
Stephen was extremely pleasant and confident at all stages, and seemed to know that there would never be a problem. I can't thank him enough!!!
