We are looking to relocate to N FL/S GA coastal area. We'd like guidance on good safe areas to live.

Safety is a difficult question to answer. I recommend that in Savannah GA you go to this source for the statistics you need. The Savannah College of Art and Design has some wonderful statistics on the downtown area as well. What I can say is that the quality of life is wonderful in Savannah. Like most places we have a range of prices and houses from cottages to estates. Waterfront can be on the Marsh, Riverfront or Oceanfront. There is waterfront in Savannah as well as Tybee and in Richmond Hill as well. I would encourage your coming to visit to see what our communities have to offer.
