How do you find a good selling realtor in this slow market? Want to move north.

Hi,

Selecting a realtor is the same in any market. Interview a few and find the one who you can work best with. The only thing different at this point in time, select a realtor who can work the internet and new technologies for you. Still a lot of - take one picture - put it on the MLS - realtors out there.

Short sales, REO are never immediate. Also, look at the days on market to find homes that might be more available, and at a much lower price than what you would expect.

There is an unusual property called Cocquina Crossing just outside of St. Augustine that you should learn about. Much lower prices.

Hi,

There are two classes of builders. Custom builders, you can use your own plan, and production builders, lots of options but no walls move.

My preference in custom builders are John Long and Sid Higgenbotham. They build all over the area.

Best of many production builders, try Richmond America. Again, they have communities all over the area

Just looking and saw your question.

St. Augustine has all price ranges and all sorts of opportunties to buy a home of any price range or any style. The market is off here as is the case in most locations. Great deals. I like some of the unique golf and CC developments. I also like the beach condos.

So - hot - not - great buys -yes.
