About Me
Meet Nahid

If there is one word to describe Nahid, it would be enthusiastic. Add to that experience, focus, and attention to detail, and you have a complete picture of Nahid. Starting in 1998 with personal investments in real estate, Nahid's knowledge of the real estate market is unmatched.

Nahid helped start a software company, so she is really at ease with technology, she is utilizing the latest innovations (online transaction coordination, internet marketing, paper less records, etc) to help save time and money in the buying and selling process.

Nahid's top notch team of coordinators and personal contacts in title companies, property inspection, repair professionals, and mortgage, allow Nahid to ensure that her clients receive the best service possible.

Personal Profile

Nahid, her husband and children are long time Bay Area residents, having moved to Pleasanton since 1991. We were attracted by the beauty and climate of the Tri-Valley area, the good schools, the vineyards and the hilly landscape (and no snow!).

Having graduated from a university in the midwest with degrees in business admin and computer science, the Bay Area was the natural place to come to.

We keep a busy schedule with work, but we always find time to get together with friends and prepare Persian or Greek food, coach our son's soccer team, run to violin lessons, just relax at home, or enjoy the beautiful downtown. Somehow we also find the time to participate in various volunteer efforts that give back to the community for worthy causes.

Accomplishments/Awards

I believe the best award is really the joy I see when I hand the keys to my clients, or to see them off to their next step after selling their current home.

My efforts have been recognised and have received numerous sales awards and designations:

- Master and Grand Master awards every year from 2002 to 2005.
- Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).
- Women's Council of Realtors (WCR).
- National Association of Realtors (NAR)
- California Association of Realtors (CAR)
- Bay East Associations of Realtors (BEAR)

If you are thinking of purchasing do not try to "time the market". It is "time in the market" that will pay off in the long run!!!

As with any city, there are different price points in Pleasanton, and some neighborhoods are more desirable than others. The downtown is desirable, as it offers a unique lifestyle.

I have lived in Pleasanton for the last 18 years, and I can tell you both as a homeowner and as a Realtor that the community is very sought after because of its location (proximity to Slicon Valley and San Francisco), a vibrant business park with many employers, excellent schools, beautifull downtown, and good weather, just to name a few of the reasons.

I do offer a no strings consultation where we can discuss the various neighborhoods, schools, things to be aware etc. Please call me if you would like to take advantage of that.

Best Regards,

The housing market in Pleasanton is still strong. People continue to buy. We do not have a crystal ball to predict the future, but a desirable community will always be in demand!!

If you would like historical graphs, and data on the PLeasanton market please e-mail me and I will be glad to send them to you. My email is: nahid@nahidsellsre.com Thank you! - Wed Jul 30 2008, 12:50

Dear home buyer,

Highway noise is a concern of many people when looking to purchase. It might not be a turn off, but a negotiating factor in a downturn market. When home buyers have many choices, they tend to stay away from homes near the highway, unless the price is very attractive. If the noise does not bother you (everthing is subjective) then use it to your advantage, and remember when you are ready to sell, that effectes your selling price. Good luck!! - Mon Jul 28 2008, 17:06
