Would anyone mind sharing a RE story about something stupid that you did that might bring a smile to another?

I have a buyer's contract on a house and we have been waiting for the sellers' plumber to complete the sewer line replacement which has been taking longer and longer than we want - 6 weeks and counting! Well, I was meeting my buyers at the house since they wanted to do some more measuring and to check the progress on the plumber's work outside. I got there early and was opening windows, turning on lights, etc. to freshen up the place when I came across the commode USED and FULL of someone's dump. I was mortified and embarassed for my buyers. So, shifting into Super Showing Agent mode, I did the obvious.......I flushed the toilet! You can imagine, when I realized what I had done, my embarassment. The sewer pipe wasn't connected to anything at about 30 feet from the house! So far, the plumber hasn't said anything to me or to the sellers. Fingers crossed! - Fri May 16 2008, 09:19

No, Texas rockool never contained asbestos; it was created after asbestos was removed as a building, insulating material and made available for public use. - Fri May 16 2008, 09:06
