Wanting to build new construction after signing buyer agent agreement

The agent is there to protect you whether it is new construction or existing construction. The builder will pay the commission to the agent, not you. If he tells the buyer that he can save them money by taking the agent out of the picture...beware. The agent can negotiate things with the builder for you that you have not even thought of. Not necessarily the price,but inclusions, terms. Since the agent has been working with you for months it is only fair that he or she get paid for helping you . Finding a house is only half the battle. The work really begins when you find it. If you do not have an agent, you do not have representation,and are at the mercy of the builder. I am also a member of the ALC (agent leadership council) Which is like a board of directors,and represents the top 20% in the office. I also serve on the International ALC.
Interests
We LOVE animals . We have three darling cats,and one nephew dog that we adore. When we can help with homeless animals and charity events.
Also, travel is something we would do all the time if we could. But, our business keeps us home more than we would like. Someday, we hope to travel again.
