My team and I have extensive experience in handling foreclosures and short sales. As you will see with answers in this category, so do many others. We would be happy to help make the process as easy as possible. No matter what though, be diligent and have patience. - Tue Aug 12 2008, 16:21

It really depends what you are looking for. We should continue to see Maricopa fall in overall prices for quite some time. This is the case for most of the outlying areas in Phoenix. The key advantage to Maricopa would be to get a larger home than what is available in East Valley communities.
If you are looking for a 4 bed 2 bath home (typical) I would suggest finding a home closer to Phoenix in a Short Sale or REO situation. - Wed Jul 16 2008, 08:50

short sell offer or trustee sale?

Troy Wahlberg answered:
I would be advised that normally when a home is in a short sale situation, multiple offers have been made to the bank, so sitting back and waiting for the Trustee's Sale could allow another offer to get accepted and move the sale date back. A good agent will be in communication with the bank through the whole process to make sure that the Trustee Sale never happens.

I highly recomend having an agent help in any purchase, especially with distressed properties. - Tue Jul 15 2008, 08:42
