Hi Sheila,

It all depends on what type of property you're looking for. In Center City you'll be able to find some small studios or one bedroom condos in your price range but I think a great option for you would either by the South Philadelphia neighborhoods of Passyunk Square and Pennsport. In your price range you can find a nice 2-3 bedroom rowhome with maybe a little outdoor patio space. They are both great neighborhoods with a vibrant personality and a lot of new restuarants/bars have opened in recent months.

Or if you don't mind being little further out but still accesable to CC by train you could look into the Fishtown and Manayunk/Roxborough neighborhoods.

I am a Realtor in Center City and a resident of the Bella Vista neighborhood of Philadelphia and I would love to discuss your upcoming purchase and how I could assist you at no obligation. My contact information is below.

Lanette,

That is a hard question to answer without knowing a little bit more about you, what your looking for in a neighborhood and your price range. I am a Center City Realtor and I also live in the Bella Vista/Queen Village neighborhood which is a great neighborhood with a lot of young familys and a great school (Meredith) but a 3 bedroom home is going to run you $300,000+ depending on the exact location and the condition. But if that is more than what you can spend there are a lot of great neighborhoods in the city. Feel free to contact me anytime to discuss what you are looking for in a house and neighborhood at no obligation. - Thu Jul 24 2008, 13:41
