I know you asked about this a couple of weeks ago. With short sales you use to get hit with the difference of what was owed to the bank. Bush passed a bill last year stopping that. So you would not get hit with it.

Hi I just answered your other question about the short sale. You said you worked with other agents to get your home listed. Have you tried advertising in Craigslist or Backpage? Those two sites has the biggest turnouts for responses.

We put an offer for $305000 closing cost in a shortsale single family home listed in #340000 back in May.

Are you saying you put in an offer twice and the bank came down on the price or they rejected the offer then lowered the listing price? If the counter is 314 you are pretty close to the offer you gave. You may want to meet in the middle. Has your agent pulled the comps for the most recent sales in the neighborhood?
