Now is the time to get your buyer's agent in place. The Realtor will be able to find out more information on this property, the area and watch for additional homes that may fit your needs. Since you know that the property in in a very desirable area, it sounds as if you already know about the Houston area. If I can be of any help, please call me. Happy house hunting! - Sat May 31 2008, 07:18
You will love Pearland and we will be happy to have you in the community. Pearland has great schools and is a "family friendly" city. You will want to have a Realtor to guide you through the home buying process. Please visit my website at
http://www.pearlandhomes.net to check out homes in your price range in Pearland. This is a great time to buy a home because of low interest rates. Happy house hunting.

I'm sorry this has happened to you. Your Realtor needs to step in and have a conversation with the sales agent for the homebuilder. If they feel that you may leave the contract because of the price difference, they may work with you to lower your price or maybe give you some added upgrades. You are still in the driver's seat here. My advice is to get your Realtor involved and if need be, have the Realtor's Broker give the sales agent a call. Best of luck with your new home. - Thu May 22 2008, 10:29
We look forward to having you in Texas! The job market in the Houston area is great and we have some lovely communities in Houston and the surrounding areas. I suggest you visit with a loan officer and then you will know what price range you will need to concentrate on for your purchase. The loan officer will explain the FHA process and the programs available to you. Good luck! - Sat May 10 2008, 13:45
The real estate market in Friendswood has made a very small correction, unlike some of the other cities you have been hearing about on the news. This is a great time to buy a home in Friendswood because of the lower interest rates and the buyer's position in today's market. Selling a home might be a bit of a challenge; that is why you will need a Realtor to guide you through pricing and staging. - Sun May 4 2008, 08:09
