What type of loan can be used towards a bank owned property?

You can use any kind of loan out there as long as you qualify for the loan and the property qualifies for the loan. Bank owned properties almost always require a preapproval letter from the lender. If the property is in questionable shape you would probably have to pay cash or get a conventional loan product. - Mon Jul 9 2007, 11:27

I would go to the County Auditors website and see who the owner of record is. You can then ask a title company to do a title search to see if there are any recent changes. - Sun Jul 1 2007, 12:45

Is it standard practice for the Selling to pay the closing costs and include it in the selling price?

In Ohio it is a negotiated item. Generally if the seller pays the closing costs the offer price reflects the costs in an increase in price. - Fri Jun 29 2007, 09:32
