Joy,
My best advice to you is to see a real estate attorney. - Mon Oct 13 2008, 06:34
In home sales and purchases the Realtor is the Professional. As with any profession they can guide you and offer their professional opinion, but you ultimately make the decision on the purchase. A good Real Estate professional will suggest you do your due diligence in researching the property you are buying to make sure it meets all of your needs. Home Inspections, Appraisals, Surveys, Title searches are only a part of the research that should be done on a home. If you have concerns about schools you should call your local school board. Concerns about neighborhood safety call your local law enforcement agency. Concerns on what you can do or can not do with the property call your local Governing agencies. Your Realtor can assist in directing you as to where to go to research your questions. You should make sure you are thoroughly satifsied with all aspects of the home, property and community in which you are looking before purchasing. Faye Martin - Fri Oct 10 2008, 12:03
You may wish to consult a Real Estate Attorney to review your lease. They can determine if you have any other options available to you. In most cases it does not cost alot for a short consultation.

There are many factors that need to be determined before answering that question. It would depend on the condo complex, the location of the complex to determine taxes based on the millage rate and the location to determine if it is located in a flood zone etc.
