I would disagree that Formosa Gardens is just a so-so location. It's among the closest communities to Disney which are approved for short term rental. It's also one of few communities where you actually get a little bit of elbow room between homes. As for prices, it's important to remember that not all homes were built off plan. There are many custom homes as well. And, if I'm not mistaken, some are not wood frame, or even block, but poured concrete construction.
It would be important to clarify whether you specifically want Formosa Gardens Estates or the Formosa
Gardens area. Oak Island Harbor, for example, is in the Formosa Gardens area and contains "Formosa Gardens" in its legal description, but is not the same as Formosa Gardens Estates. There are many listings in the area, but fewer than 14 in the actual community.
I'm very familiar with the various communities in this area. I'd be happy to help. Feel free to send me a note at info@bferryhomes.com. I can send active listings based on your clarified criteria.
