About Me
I am a real estate broker in Portland, Oregon. I'd be happy to discuss any real estate topic with you. I pledge 100% honesty and ethical service to all of my clients and I will always put your needs first. If you are buying or selling a home, finding the right real estate professional can make all of the difference in the world. I think you'll feel confident in my experience and market savvy. I have a caring attitude and commitment to hard work. If you or someone you know needs that kind of professional, call me. I'd love to help.

I am originally from San Diego, California. I graduated from San Diego State University in 2000 with a degree in English and Creative Writing. I love to travel and spent 3 months discovering Europe after college. I moved to our wonderful city in 2004 and adore all of the diverse neighborhoods the city has to offer. I've been with Windermere since 2004 in Westmoreland. I work throughout the entire metro region and I've lived in both SE and NE Portland. I have directly participated in the successful close of over 40 transactions- with both with buyers and sellers. Recently, in March of 2008, I became a Relocation Specialist. I can now assist buyers and sellers reach their real estate goals worldwide.

I enjoy working with first time home buyers and sellers. I go above and beyone to provide the extra level of care that is needed during these sometimes stressful situations. I take time to answer your questions, provide in depth real estate counseling, and give you materials to read to become more "in the know." Twice a month, I teach a home- buyer class at a local coffee shop. Please contact me if you or anyone you know might be interested in attending

How low is too low to offer?

Jenny Jardim answered:
I usually advise my clients to make an offer at a price that makes them comfortable. As the other realtors said, it often depends on the home's condition, the market time, and how motivated the seller is. Although we are not seeing as many "multiple offer" situations as we had in the past, they can still happen and in that case, you risk not getting your offer accepted. Sometimes, with a lower offer, a seller may want to "counter" your offer with a price that is higher... just be prepared for that.
Now is a great time to buy unlike a few years ago, because more sellers are motivated to sell their home and move on in fear that their house will sit on the market too long. Best wishes to you. - Sat May 31 2008, 06:57
