I am a Real Estate Agent in the Portland Metro area. Specializing in homes sales in Hillsboro and Portland Bethany area.
Experience: I have lived in the Portland Metro area my entire life. Working in Residential Property Management for Trammell Crow and Real Estate with John L Scott Market Center for a cumulative of 7 years. My knowledge of the current market conditions, along the geographic areas of Portland to the West Coast, offers my clients valuable insight into the Home Sale and Purchasing process.
My in depth training and successful career with Trammell Crow and John L Scott Market Center has provided me with the knowledge that superior customer service and dedication to my clients needs are the base of any successful business. I try to make the buying and selling process as easy as possible.
Honesty and integrity along with the genuine best interest of my clients is the core of my business.
Sales approach: I am the Realtor who lists your home with an aggressive approach. Utilizing every avenue possible to sell your home!
In todays market it takes more that a sign post and a listing on the enternet to accomplish that goal. Networking with other realtors to keep your home in the front of the "active" realtors mind is a must. Keeping your home in front of buyers and investors with open houses, The Real Estate Book, Direct mails, internet flyer's and refreshing your listings photos and details is essential. There is 1 golden ticket to selling a home in a slow market and that is EXPOSURE! The more people you reach the faster your home will sell.
About Me: I was raised in the Portland Metro area and now live in Hillsboro with my family. I have three beautiful children and a wonderful husband who works as an engineer at a semiconductor company in Hillsboro. As a full time working mother most of my time out side of work is with my children.

A Realtor can help you find what foreclosures are active on the multiple listing database and they get a report from the title company. You too could go to the title company and ask for these reports however they are updated every week. It may be daunting for you to keep up on them without someone assisting you.
It’s a great way to make money now if you are willing to act fast when the right home comes along. Good luck with your search and if you are interested in having a realtor help you buy (free) please contact me. If you are looking outside of the Portland area I can refer you to outstanding agents in most any area or Oregon.
Happy House Hunting!

I am on board with the rest of the suggestions. Being a Real Estate agent in the suburbs I can tell you what neighborhoods have some upper level interest or hype going. The Pearl District (if you can afford it), Lake Oswego, Nob Hill (wouldn’t go with Alberta its trendy but not to much high end going on) I would also suggest Riverside. They already have some Plastic surgeons clients coming in and you could feed of that business!
In fact I would research what areas the plastic surgeons are in and then cross check what areas need a skin care chain.
Girls take on the situation!
Good luck with your new business

I am a real estate expert in Hillsboro Oregon. I recommend finding a real estate agent who works in your immediate area. It is important they are available to make the home available to view for anyone who calls on shorter notice. You want a real estate agent who wants to sell your home with maximum service available.
To find our more about how to chose a real estate agent please go to my web sight. www.relocation-home.com You will find helpful information for your home selling and if you are looking at buying a new home be sure to ask about a discount if you use the same real estate agent for both! If you would like a recommendation of a fantastic agent in your neighborhood please email me.
Happy house selling!

You may want to talk to them again. They may have not done a Rent back agreement as they may not be renting back rather staying in the home for a period of time. An agreement to occupy after closing is not the same as a rent back agreement.
Recently many foreclosure scams have been selling foreclosure homes and renting them back the original owner who thinks they have an option to purchase but end up being forced out of the home because of increasing prices. More than likely your realtor handled things properly, however you should be able to ask questions and get the answers you need in return.
sounds like you are okay to me.

He didnt want to talk about it? That I would be concerned about. Yes they should have removed the rent back agreement or had it submitted with the offer ot the bank. Doesnt sound like it was. Is the agent the seller agent or do you have your own?

It is possible for a realtor to see about the other offer. I have asked for a copy of the other offers first page with the names and amounts blacked out. This just gives buyers a feeling that they have gone threw the trouble to produce the document to prove themselves and interest in receiving more offers. Many don’t think this is the way to go but in some cases (like yours) it cools down emotions or possibly being "Fooled" into a higher offer.
Keep in mind that when brokers tell someone they have another offer they risk the other person walking away and not making an offer. In this market I couldn’t imagine a realtor taking that risk. Remember the Realtor wants to sell that house as badly at the sellers do in this market. Not to mention that Real Estate agents are bound by a code of ethics, Tho’ shall not lie!
Good luck and if you like the home buy it before it’s really gone!
