I am so sorry to read on your predicament right now. Usually, home inspection is a choice you got to make. If you said yes, then you pay-if you said no, then you need to sign a waiver. Since you are buying an REO property, I will advise my clients, especially first time homebuyers ,to get the property inspected since you buy them "AS-IS". You may not appreciate what she did but I think this is for your own good. It is just unfortunate that she was not able to communicate these things with you. I hope though that you had a good deal on this house so it will offset the $395 that you have to pay. good Luck to you! - Sat Nov 8 2008, 07:55
