After a long career in law enforcement as a 911 supervisor, I moved to the Long Beach Peninsula and began a new career in real estate. I love the beauty here on the Long Beach Peninsula. I believe that we can, and will grow responsibly.
Helping people and solving problems is what I strive for and have achieved my entire life. That is why I enjoy this business so much.
As our society evolves, it becomes increasingly important to have an agent working for you who understands today's technology. Internet searches have become the number one tool for buying or selling land, homes or commercial real estate. I utilize these skills combined with the powerful network of RE/MAX to market oceanfront, bay front and lakefront homes on the Long Beach Peninsula in SW Washington.

I used them when I first started out. I do not regret the money spent for the experience I earned doing CMA's. Having said that, I would not think of using them now. I spend countless hours running around doing free CMA's with very little result. I listed one home and had one other serious prospect...I was outbid on that listing. For the 6 months I was in, I found the cost to be outrageous. There are much better lead systems available on the internet, for much less investment. - Sun Apr 27 2008, 12:38

I have a lovely efficiency cabin on a buildable lot on Skating Lake for $89,900. I also have acreage, 8.23 acres, cleared and ready to develop for $129,000, and 5 acres for $99,000 right next to it.This would give you the added benefit of being near the Pacific Ocean and Willapa Bay, and very close to the Columbia River. It doesn't get much better than this! The climate here is moderate, and there are many activities year-round. We are about 3-31/2 hours from Seattle, and 30-45 minutes from Astoria, Oregon. There are also many other properties available, and we have several other lakes here, Loomis Lake, Black Lake, Rushlight lake, just to name the bigger ones. - Sun Apr 27 2008, 11:07

This was a small local company. I could not have chosen a better place to get on-the-job training. The broker was knowledgeable and MOST IMPORTANTLY...internet saavy! This proved to be the best start to my career I could have hoped for.

I was responsible for answering the phones, inputting listings in the MLS, and updating both computer and paper files. This exposure reminded me of all the things I loved about being a Real Estate Agent back in the 1980's, and encouraged me to become licensed in Washington State.

My husband and I are extremely active in all forms of motorsports. He has been racing since he was 16 years old. I have at times assisted as part of his pit crew. Although he is not currenlty racing we attend many events through the Pacific Northwest, and sometimes travel elsewhere to see races. My husband also sells racing prints on his website:
http://www.memorylaneracing.com.
We are also interested in antiques, with a soft spot for WWII memorabilia.
My favorite passtime for relaxation is watching movies and television.
