"Matts's service as our agent was top notch and we really enjoyed working with him. he always suggested houses that she felt we may be interested in based on the specific criteria and towns that we were looking for. One thing to note is that he was always punctual and we never had to worry about him being at a location at a particular time. He always showed us many houses and seemed honest in his own opinion and advice for us as first time single family home-buyers. Matt would point both positive and negative things of a house. When looking at houses, Matt was always full of suggestions and ideas and helped us see houses in a different light. he also was on top of all the new houses that came onto the market and would check them out as soon as they hit the market to see if they would be of interested to us. He would even take pictures of the house and surrounding neighborhood with her camera phone and then e-mail them to us so that we can have a feel of what it is like before actually physically visiting the house. His service was incredible."

It dependsm is your area all 2 family homes or one family homes? it hase to do what is suitable for the location, in Summit I am thinking a one family but I need to know what is around it. If it can be marketed as a 2 family than leave it be. The other question ism is it a legal 2 family? - Wed Jul 9 2008, 12:06
those are all great towns, but I think Nutley is a fantastic town to start. Close to NYC lower taxes allot more to do for a young family starting out. You can get a 3 bedroom home in the 350k-450k range. - Wed Jul 9 2008, 12:03
