how do i found out how much a home/property is worth without the seller/realtor knowing?

Are you inquiring about the property's value because you are looking to purchase it or are you trying to determine your own property value based off of that particular home? The city's website http://(www.cityofclawson.com) can give you some assessed values. You can also search Trulia to see recent sales that are reported thru here. But as Maureen mentioned, a Buyer's Agent would give you the most accurate info. Good luck!

Hi Susu -

Getting preapproved is the best first step you can make. As previously stated, this home is not currently on the market. Although you may be excited about this home, please don't get your heart set on it yet. There is some investigating that needs to be done before a current status of the home can be determined. Briefly looking at public records, it's possible the home has already gone into foreclosure and it is now in the redemption period. If that is the case, the bank may not legally sell it until after the first of the year.
